Characteristics of the Plant and Product

Angelica is a large, hairy, biennial plant with ferny leaves and white flowers that can grow 5 to 8 feet tall. Commonly known as the “female ginseng,” the Angelica sinensis herb grows in the high mountains of China, Japan, and Korea where it was traditionally used, especially in Chinese medicine, for its ability to soothe menopausal symptoms and negative moods as well as for its skin enhancing properties. It is believed that its name originated from the belief that it had a Divine Source, as its effects were so potent. Angelica Root Essential Oil can be used in Aromatherapy to relieve mental exhaustion as well as for dealing with dry skin conditions. When used for aromatic diffuse, its rich herbaceous aroma gives it a great strength of diffusion.

It should be noted that Angelica essential oil has photosensitivity. After use, the skin should not be exposed to the sun. It is suitable for evening use. Pregnant women and diabetics should avoid using it. Excessive use may cause insomnia.

 

Usage

For local use, concentration ≤5%

For full body use, concentration ≤ 2%

For aromatic diffuse, 3-5 drops/use, 1-3 times/day

 

How to blend the oil concentration

5ml carrier oil + 1 drop of single essential oil = 1% concentration

5ml carrier oil + 2 drops of single essential oil = 2% concentration

and so on...

 

Cautions

For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or suffering from epilepsy, or other diseases, please consult a health care practitioner prior before use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. 

If the eyes and mucous membranes accidentally come into contact with essential oils and feel irritation, never rinse with water. You need to rub or pour vegetable oils such as jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, Grape seed oil, olive oil, and other mild vegetable oils on the irritated parts because essential oils are insoluble in water.

Avoid light and heat, and store at room temperature. Keep away from flame.
