Blue Tansy is an annual plant with bright yellow flowers and belong to Asteraceae.

Blue tansy has a sweet smell of vanilla with cream, which makes you love it. Blue Tansy essential oil contains special natural components of chamazulene, this component is the color source of blue essential oil, such like German Chamomile, Southernwood, Yarrow essential oil etc.

Among all the blue essential oils, Blue Tansy has the darkest color, the sweetest smell, and has a high skin affinity. It contains a high proportion of chamazulene has excellent anti-allergy effects on the skin and respiratory tract. In commercial use, it is often extracted as a material for sunscreen skin care products and lip balm; in medical use, it is used as an antihistamine anti-inflammatory drug, and it is one of the herbal medicines with rich medical and economic value.

Since its color is so dark, it is recommended to halve the concentration. It should be noted that, because the essential oil products on this site use white caps uniformly, blue tansy essential oil can easily turn the cap blue during transportation. Please don't buy it if you mind.

Usage

For local use, concentration ≤2%

For full body use, concentration ≤ 1%

For facial body use, concentration ≤ 0.5%

For aromatic diffuse, not recommended

How to blend the oil concentration

5ml carrier oil + 1 drop of single essential oil = 1% concentration

5ml carrier oil + 2 drops of single essential oil = 2% concentration

and so on...

If the eyes and mucous membranes accidentally come into contact with essential oils and feel irritation, never rinse with water. You need to rub or pour vegetable oils such as jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, Grape seed oil, olive oil, and other mild vegetable oils on the irritated parts because essential oils are insoluble in water.
