Characteristics of the Plant and Product
The Cistus Ladanifer, which grows in small fragrant bushes in the Mediterranean basin, has five beautiful wrinkled white flowers with conspicuous crimson hearts and yellow stamens. It warms wounded souls and evokes their sweet nature. Its key words are repair, restoration, and regeneration.
In Provence, it was inhaled to prevent diseases. It is also used as an antispasmodic and immunostimulant. Cistus Ladanifer essential oil extracted by distillation often appears in high-end facial skincare products, such as anti-wrinkle products.
